What is a Dental Crown

A dental crown, also known as a dental cap, is a durable, tooth-shaped cover that fits over a damaged tooth, fully encasing it to restore its function and appearance. What is a Bridge?

A dental bridge is a dental restoration that is used to replace one or more missing teeth by bridging the gap between two healthy teeth or dental implants. It consists of one or more artificial teeth, known as pontics, which are held in place by dental crowns attached to the adjacent teeth or implants.

The purpose of a dental bridge is to restore the appearance and function of your smile, improve your ability to chew and speak properly, maintain the alignment of your remaining teeth, and prevent the shifting of surrounding teeth into the gap left by the missing tooth.
